Lincoln...

Not too long ago I went down to Springfield, IL and Checked out the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library & Museum. The drive was a little over three hours and I slept the whole way there(going), the drive home was cool. I appreciated the farm land I saw along the ride home, seeing animals are always a bonus. I'm like a child when I see horses, cows and other farm life. The road seemed to never end at times, the land seemed infinite, it was beautiful.
I found out many great things about our former President, he was a self taught reader, a lawyer and a loving father. I thought I knew the story of Abe Lincoln but, I had no idea. if you ever get a chance to visit Springfield, IL or hell if you ever want to just get out and do something plan a trip to the capitol. An added bonus is the capital building which a ten minute walk from the A.L. Museum. I have never seen a town so clean, I swear it reminded me of a scene from the twilight zone it [Springfield ]was almost that perfect.  Any-who... below are some of the pictures and highlights of the trip.
 Happy Outings!
